A staple of NYC's downtown experimental scene, FRIGID Nightcap invites audiences into a world of unpredictability, where each performance is a sharp left turn from the last. This month's theme, Quiet Riot, explores stillness as protest, softness as strength, and rebellion that simmers instead of explodes.
The evening features a diverse, cross-disciplinary lineup of performers working at the intersections of comedy, burlesque, drag, movement, performance art, and theatre-all united by a spirit of whispered resistance.

Rachel Pacelli - A poetic performance art piece exploring the weight of the world and the emotional toll of continuing on in the face of collapse.

Set in NYC in 1971, SEXY SADIE follows a young, strong-willed woman named Sadie who has the sensibilities of an artist without the talent (or really, the support).
Pushed by her overbearing family, she's thrust into a nuclear family with a musician, Ian, but must come to terms, years later, with the true reason for her unhappiness.
Sadie has to find the strength to accept who she really is, or continue destroying herself and everyone around her.

ANNARELLA
A solo show about 1950’s Italian film star, Pier Angeli, best known as the love of James Dean’s life…though she is much more than this.
Following her birth and upbringing in WW2 Rome, Angeli deals with constant control, abuse, and fear at making the wrong step in her tragically short life. She must overcome her demons through telling her own story for the first time, and fully embrace her legacy.
Writer, producer, actor: RACHEL PACELLI
Director: EMILY LINCOFF

My senior thesis CALL OF THE VOID is centered around a young woman, Evie, who has been on a self-destructive path since facing trauma months before. She finds herself listening to l’appele du vide, or the Call of the Void – that voice in her head that tells her to do something harmful.
Trying to combat this, she starts seeing a therapist, Roland, who has deep-seated trauma of his own that he hasn’t yet faced.
As a former psychology student, Evie continuously psycho-analyzes Roland and the question of who is helping who, as well as the line between personal and professional boundaries, becomes blurred as they force each other to face their traumas, with risk of falling deeper into their own self-destructive tendencies…and potentially devastating consequences.
